    PRELUDE

Disillusioned. Is this a good or a bad thing? Years ago I heard a teaching that deal with this topic. Because I love to play with words, this was right down my alley. Usually I have thought that being disillusioned by something, or someone, was not good. The speaker, possibly PDH, but I'm not certain, said that the focus should be on the word illusion. Who do you know that wants to live in or under an illusion? Better to have truth, right? This being the case then, we should all seek to become disillusioned as much as we can.

In the post that is soon forthcoming I'm going to share my thoughts and some of my feelings regarding my life and some of the things that I have experienced over the last several years.

    Stay tuned.

  • Hi Shlomo,

Not sure what you meant by your teenager comment??...I'm not offended but did you just insult me??  I'm far from being a teenager....I have two teenagers kids....Most of my subscribers are parents too.  My blog is my escape.  I don't like to get too serious or philosophical....

Yes, I loved what he did with Carlos Santana....I adore Carlos Santana and his spiritual approach to music.

I enjoyed your entry today.  Interesting take you have on disillusionment.  I look forward to your future blogs.

  • Good to see another post...interesting thoughts.

I won't be able to make it to Shabatt this Friday night...it's the end of the missions conference at Moody and I have to attend an appreciation dinner. Next Friday should work though...

  • I'm really sorry about Friday night... sorry.

    Hey Josh,

Not to worry my brother. I hope that you had a nice time this evening. I'll be checking your site for any news about your job search.

    Blessings,

    Shlomo

  • Looking forward to your next post!  Thanks for your kind comments on my site.

  • And so it begins...

Might I say that if you really were born in 1952, that makes you as old as my father... awkward

  • I'm not quite so radical; the suprise was more from the fact that you have a blog -- nothing shocking, but just unexpected.

Oh, and for the record, my dancing ends with a night of bruised feet and egos.
