Peril From Hurricane Dolly
B"H
Pray for our friends in South Texas
On Monday night I spoke with Monroe and he informed me that where they are living now, in the Rio Grande Valley, is directly in the path of Hurricane Dolly. Haley posted on her Xanga site that they were going to go north about an hour to a shelter for people fleeing from the storm. Please join me in praying for them and their entire family at this time.
Blessings,
Shlomo
Past Due Update
I spoke with Haley at length last Saturday morning and they are all fine and their property was not damaged at all. I think the worst of it was a broken branch from a tree. Contrary to the report I had previously read, they didn't need to evacuate or relocate after all.
If any of you were praying and wondering, that's the report. All is well in the little town of Edinburg Texas. Prayers are always appreciated however, so don't feel that they were wasted or spent in vain. Only the LORD knows how our intercession may be working in this or that situation.
Blessings,
Shlomo

I love that photo! I seriously don't know anyone who nurses her baby during a group photo. Haley is definitely my new hero.
I was thinking about you and decided to pop by and say hello dear friend.
Blessings and peace to you and yours.

Hey Shanny,
Thanks for stopping by. I have indeed missed you. I was praying for you as you travelled to the States for the funeral. I'm glad you're back. I hope to read a new post by you soon.
Blessings to you, Hauke and the boys,
Shlomo
Shlomo,
Where you at man? I miss your posts as well as your interaction. Come back to the world of cyperspace.
By the way I am back writing again over at the "Urban Shepherd" (http://www.markaaronroy.blogspot.com)
Come holla at me!
Grace and Peace bro!

Hey Pastor Aaron,
So nice to have you stop by and visit once again. I am still here in cyberspace, although I am still reading and making various comments here and there rather than writing my own stuff. That is soon to change though as I just got a new computer and now have more power and a new battery so I am no longer chained to the nearest power outlet.
Blessings,
Shlomo

Checking in again friend. I wish there was another way we could do this. I am guessing you couldn't get the friend request to activate.
That's ok. I know it will one day.
Hauke is here watching Formula 1 because it is the first race in Singapore which is a pretty awesome track. I am absolutely not a fan, but this race seems to be somewhat exciting.
I just read a wonderful book, which I believe was a divine thing. God really touched me through it. It is called "The Shack" by William P. Young and it is a great read. I have a new job teaching children ages 3-7 English and one class I teach English music to 3 year olds. Too cute! Its only 3 hours a week but I just started. I also still nanny for a family that are satanists with a dash of buddist mixed in. I have been able to open up to the mother about my belief and she is very open to it since she and I have established a good relationship. Its fun to see the small things are actually all part of the plan, which is such an understatement. I just forget it all the time.
We wish you all the best, and we are thinking about you. I really praise God for bringing us all together and in such a way!
Your friends,
-Shanny and Hauke (Jeremy doesn't quite know you yet)

Hey Shanny & Hauke,
Yes yes! You are my dear friends. Thanks for thinking of me.
Formula 1 huh? It must be a guy thing.
I haven't read The Shack, but I have read several reviews, both positive and negative, and feel it probably is a good book. A lot of people have testified how it has helped them.
I'm glad you found another teaching position. I know you guys need the money, but you don't need another "bad" situation where y our self esteem is under constant assault.
I'll write you more later. I have to run now.
Blessings,
Shlomo
